Personal Data Processing Policy

 

This Privacy Policy has been prepared in order to ensure that Beata Kander Biuro Tłumaczeń INTERTEXT as the Data Controller collects and processes personal data in accordance with the personal data protection requirements and principles.

 

How did we acquire your data?

  • directly from you,
  • from an entity which has entered an agreement with INTERTEXT translation agency to perform services on your behalf,
  • from a partner / third party working with INTERTEXT translation agency, who made your data available based on your consent,
  • from publicly available sources such as the National Court Register, Central Registry and Information about Business Activities (CEIDG) or other similar sources.

  • desktop publishing services (DTP)
  • concluding an agreement with Beata Kander Biuro Tłumaczeń INTERTEXT
  • accounting
  • marketing
  • conducting market research as well as quantitative research (surveys, questionnaires), qualitative research
  • suppliers’ recruitment.

 

Your data is necessary for the full provision of our services as well as to be able to present these services to you. Providing your data is completely voluntary, however, it is necessary to conclude a contract, establish cooperation or process your order.

Providing the data necessary to issue an invoice is a statutory requirement pursuant to the Act on Value Added Tax. In other respects the provision of personal data is voluntary, is not a statutory or contractual requirement and is not a condition for the conclusion of a contract.

In the case of our suppliers, the provision of data is necessary to establish cooperation, commission services and fulfil all related obligations, including billing.

 

Consent Withdrawal

You may withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time, in any way, without any negative consequences to you. You may inform us about your wish to withdraw your consent by mail or e-mail sent to above mentioned address. It is key that we are able to record this information. Consent withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of your data processing prior to the withdrawal, which means that until you withdraw your consent, we process your data in accordance with the provisions of applicable law.

 

The basis for the processing of personal data depending on the activity:

  • conclusion and performance of an agreement with INTERTEXT translation agency,
  • legal obligation of INTERTEXT translation agency (e.g. issuing an invoice),
  • your consent,
  • legitimate interest of INTERTEXT translation agency (direct marketing of our services and products, performance of an agreement concluded with INTERTEXT translation agency on your behalf by a third party),

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, transfer your personal data to another data controller or object to the processing of your data for the purpose of marketing of INTERTEXT translation agency’s own products or services .

 

Data retention period

Your data will be kept for as long as necessary for the performance of the contract between you and INTERTEXT translation agency, or a contract concluded by a third party on your behalf.
